Java is an Indonesia island located in the Eastern Archipelago. With government-sponsored estates that grow coffee on the southeastern end of this island. This great, mellow, balanced coffee has a pungent earth aroma. Its rich and full body is a bit lighter then Sumatra. The vibrant, smoky flavor is balanced by a low acidity. Java blends well with all Central Americans and Brazilians and is enjoyable by itself. A medium roast is unsurpassed however a dark roast is popular for use in coffee drinks.
